Server requirements


To use ASP-based dynamic content created with Adobe GoLive, you need the following server software:
  • Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) version 3 or later running under Windows NT; or Microsoft Personal Web Server running under Windows NT or Windows 98; or Peer Web Server running under Windows NT. Microsoft IIS 3 does not have an ASP engine installed by default; you need to install the ASP Extension separately.
  • To assure compatibility with Access 2000 databases you'll need to install version 2.1 or later of Microsoft's Data Access Components (MDAC), available from http://www.microsoft.com/data.
  • UNIX servers with Chili!Soft ASP installed.
  • Microsoft Commerce Server (only needed for e-commerce functionality).
